  • 3 cans (5 ounces each) quality tuna (wild-caught Albacore or Yellowfin)
  • 2 1/2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 1/2 English cucumber, chopped
  • 45 radishes, chopped
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 medium red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup pitted Kalamata olives, halved
  • 1 bunch parsley, chopped (about 1 cup)
  • 1015 fresh mint leaves, finely chopped (about 1/2 cup)
  • Dijon mustard
  • lime zest
  • lime juice
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • sumac
  • kosher salt
  • black pepper
  • crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Make the Dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, lime zest, and lime juice. Gradually add olive oil while whisking until well combined. Stir in sumac, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired.
  2. Prepare the Salad: In a large bowl, combine drained tuna with chopped celery, cucumber, radishes, green onions, red onion, olives, parsley, and mint. Gently mix with a wooden spoon until evenly distributed.
  3. Assemble: Pour the dressing over the tuna salad mixture and gently toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let flavors meld.
