Ingredients

Scale
  • 30 oz marshmallows (divided)

  • Red & blue food coloring

Instructions

  1. Grease a 9×13 dish and set aside.
  2. For the red layer: Melt 3 oz of butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Stir in 10 oz of marshmallows until smooth, then add red food coloring. Mix in 6 cups of puffed rice cereal until coated, and press into the prepared dish.
  3. For the white layer: Repeat step 2 without food coloring using another 3 oz of butter and marshmallows, combining with another 6 cups of cereal, pressing on top of the red layer.
  4. For the blue layer: Melt the last 3 oz of butter, mix with remaining marshmallows and blue food coloring, then add final 6 cups of cereal and press on top.
  5. Allow to set before cutting into squares.
