  • 1/3 cup beef broth

  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 1/8 teaspoon cracked red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil (divided)
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the sauce ingredients: soy sauce, cornstarch, beef broth, honey, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Cook the ramen noodles in boiling water for 2-3 minutes; drain and rinse with cold water.
  3. In a nonstick skillet, heat olive oil and cook seasoned steak strips until browned; remove from skillet.
  4. Steam broccoli in the same skillet for about 2 minutes until bright green.
  5. Combine steak and cooked noodles with broccoli; pour in the prepared sauce and stir until everything is coated and heated through.
