  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 pound sirloin steak, sliced
  • 3 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 2 packages ramen noodles (discard seasoning packets)
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Olive oil for cooking
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce and cornstarch, then mix in beef broth, honey, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes. Set aside.
  2. Cook ramen noodles in boiling water for 2-3 minutes until tender; drain and toss with sesame oil.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook seasoned steak strips until browned; remove from skillet.
  4. Add more olive oil and broccoli to the skillet with water; steam until bright green.
  5. Return steak to skillet along with drained noodles; pour sauce over and stir to combine.
