Ingredients
- 4 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped
- ¾ cup unsalted butter
- ¾ cup sugar
- ½ cup light brown sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1–½ teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ¾ cup cocoa powder
- ¾ teaspoon salt
- For Ganache: 6 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped or in morsels
- ¾ cup heavy whipping cream
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Melt semisweet chocolate and unsalted butter together in a double boiler or microwave until smooth.
- In a mixing bowl, combine melted chocolate with sugars and mix well. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
- In another bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, and salt; fold into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
- For ganache, heat semisweet chocolate morsels and cream until melted; let cool slightly before using.
- Once brownies are cooled, cut them into small squares, dip in ganache or drizzle on top, and sprinkle with fleur de sel.
