- 1 1/2 lb chicken breast
- 12 oz gluten-free farfalle pasta
- 3 cups heavy cream
- 12 oz shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp thyme
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 4 tbsp butter
- 2 tsp dry shallots
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 tbsp Gluten Free 1:1 Flour
- 1/4 cup pasta water
Instructions
- Boil water in a large pot; cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
- Season chicken with paprika, oregano, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and black pepper.
- Sear seasoned chicken in olive oil over medium heat until browned (5 minutes each side). Cook through on medium-low heat until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté dry shallots and garlic powder for one minute.
- Stir in flour, then add chicken broth and heavy cream; whisk until smooth.
- Mix in Parmesan cheese until melted; combine with cooked pasta and adjust consistency with reserved pasta water.
