  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 7 ounces plain Greek yogurt
  • 15-ounce can tomato sauce
  • 1.5 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon garam masala
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 4 teaspoons garam masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon table salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken by mixing yogurt, lemon juice, garam masala, black pepper, and ginger in a bowl. Add chicken chunks and coat thoroughly. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  2. Heat a nonstick pan over high heat and sear marinated chicken until golden brown. Remove from pan.
  3. In the same pan, combine tomato sauce, heavy cream, garlic, and remaining spices to create the sauce. Add seared chicken back into the pan and simmer for about 20 minutes.
