Ingredients

  • Mixed greens
  • Pomegranate arils
  • Apples or pears
  • Avocados
  • Candied walnuts
  • Candied pumpkin seeds

  • Honey mustard dressing (olive oil, balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, honey, fig preserves, orange zest, orange juice)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Toss walnuts and pumpkin seeds with honey and chipotle chili powder; spread on a baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes until golden, stirring halfway through. Cool.
  2. In a large bowl, combine mixed greens, frisée lettuce, chopped apples (or pears), avocado slices, pomegranate arils, and crumbled cheese.
  3. For the dressing, mix olive oil, vinegar, Dijon mustard, honey, fig preserves, orange zest, and juice in a jar; shake well.
  4. Just before serving, drizzle dressing over the salad and toss gently.
