  • 30 oz kidney beans (two cans, drained and rinsed)
  • 30 oz diced tomatoes (with juice)
  • 30 oz tomato sauce
  • Spices: cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, oregano, salt, pepper

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes. Break it up as it cooks.
  2. Add diced onion and sauté until tender (about 4-5 minutes). Stir in minced garlic and spices; cook for an additional 30 seconds.
  3. Transfer the beef mixture to a slow cooker.
  4. Add black beans, kidney beans, diced tomatoes (with juice), and tomato sauce. Mix well.
  5. Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 6-8 hours.
