  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 45–55 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean.
  6. Cool in the pan before transferring to a wire rack.
  7. For icing, whisk together powdered sugar, lemon juice, milk, and salt until smooth; drizzle over cooled loaf.
