Ingredients
- ¾ cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
- 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
- ¼ cup ground cinnamon
- ½ cup whipping cream or Greek yogurt
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2–3 tablespoons cream or milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a bundt pan.
- Mix together granulated sugar and ground cinnamon in a small bowl.
- In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla.
- In another bowl, whisk flour and baking powder; gradually add to wet mixture alternating with whipping cream.
- Pour half of the batter into the bundt pan. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon mixture on top, then layer remaining batter and finish with the rest of the cinnamon mixture.
- Bake for about 55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Mix icing ingredients until smooth and drizzle over cooled cake.
