  • ¾ cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
  • ¼ cup ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup whipping cream or Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 23 tablespoons cream or milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a bundt pan.
  2. Mix together granulated sugar and ground cinnamon in a small bowl.
  3. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla.
  4. In another bowl, whisk flour and baking powder; gradually add to wet mixture alternating with whipping cream.
  5. Pour half of the batter into the bundt pan. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon mixture on top, then layer remaining batter and finish with the rest of the cinnamon mixture.
  6. Bake for about 55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Mix icing ingredients until smooth and drizzle over cooled cake.
