Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C). In a bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In a larger bowl, cream softened butter and sugar until smooth. Add egg and vanilla extract; mix well.
  3. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture until combined. Chill dough for at least 20 minutes.
  4. Press dough into a greased pizza pan and bake for 17–19 minutes until lightly golden. Let cool completely.
  5. Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth; add confectioners’ sugar and vanilla until creamy.
