  • ½ cup beef broth
  • 4 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • ½ cup brown sugar (adjustable)
  • 4 teaspoons fresh ginger, minced
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until cooked through. Add minced ginger and garlic in the final minutes.
  2. Cook pasta according to package directions without added salt; drain and set aside.
  3. Drain excess fat from the skillet and add soy sauce, beef broth, brown sugar, hoisin sauce, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Stir to combine.
