  • 10 ounces noodles (linguine, fettuccine, or spaghetti)
  • ½ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • 4 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • ½ cup brown sugar (adjust as desired)
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 teaspoons fresh ginger, minced
  • Sliced green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Add ginger and garlic during the last two minutes; break the beef into small crumbles.
  2. Cook noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. Drain excess fat from the skillet and add soy sauce, beef broth, brown sugar, hoisin sauce, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Stir well.
  4. Mix cornstarch with water in a small bowl until smooth. Add to the skillet and stir until thickened.
  5. Combine drained noodles with the beef mixture in the skillet; toss to coat evenly.
  6. Garnish with sliced green onions before serving hot.
