  • 1 lb brussels sprouts
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 4 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Halve the brussels sprouts and place them on a baking sheet.
  3. Drizzle with avocado oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper, toss to coat, and arrange cut side down.
  4. Roast for 18-20 minutes until golden and crispy.
  5. While roasting, prepare the balsamic sauce by combining olive oil, honey, balsamic vinegar, and grated garlic in a saucepan over medium heat. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
  6. Once the sprouts are done, toss them with the balsamic sauce and serve immediately.
