  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 6 Tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 cans (14 ounces each) sweetened condensed milk
  • 4 ounces softened cream cheese
  • ¾ cup key lime juice
  • Zest from 2 limes
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F (180C). Combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter; press into an 8" – 9.5" pie pan and bake for 10 minutes. Cool completely.
  2. In a bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Add sweetened condensed milk, key lime juice, and lime zest; mix until smooth.
  3. Pour the filling into the cooled crust and bake for another 10 minutes. Let it cool for about 30 minutes before refrigerating for at least 3 hours.
  4. For the topping, beat heavy whipping cream until soft peaks form; gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form. Spread over the chilled pie.
