Ingredients

  • 22.75 oz granulated sugar
  • 2 TBSP culinary dried lavender
  • 8 oz unsalted butter, melted
  • 3.5 oz lavender sugar
  • 8 large eggs
  • 1 ÂĽ cups fresh lemon juice
  • Zest of 2 lemons
  • 9 oz all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. For the crust, mix granulated sugar, dried lavender, melted butter, lavender sugar, vanilla extract, salt, and flour until combined. Press into a greased 9×13 inch baking pan and bake for 15 minutes or until lightly golden.
  3. For the filling, whisk together eggs, lemon juice, lavender sugar, lemon zest, and flour until smooth. Pour over the pre-baked crust and bake for an additional 45 minutes or until set.
  4. Allow to cool completely before slicing into squares and dusting with powdered sugar.
