  • ¼ teaspoon baking powder
  • 12 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 4 large egg yolks
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • ⅔ cup fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, salt, and baking powder. Stir in melted butter until crumbly.
  3. Press two-thirds of the mixture into the prepared pan and bake for 15 minutes.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together sweetened condensed milk, egg yolks, heavy cream, salt, and lemon juice until smooth. Pour over the baked crust.
  5. Sprinkle remaining crumb mixture on top and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool completely at room temperature before refrigerating for at least 4 hours before slicing.
