  • 4 salmon filets (6 oz each)
  • 2/3 cup orange juice
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ginger (minced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • Optional garnishes: sesame seeds, red pepper flakes, chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Prepare the sauce: In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water. Combine with orange juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, and garlic in a saucepan. Simmer for 3-5 minutes until thickened.
  2. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  3. Line a baking sheet with oiled foil. Place salmon filets on it and baste generously with half the sauce.
  4. Bake for about 14 minutes or until salmon flakes easily.
  5. Broil for one minute for a golden finish.
