- 1 lb raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a food processor, pulse the shrimp until coarsely ground. Transfer to a mixing bowl.
- Add breadcrumbs, beaten egg, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix until combined.
- Scoop out portions of the mixture and roll into balls about 1 inch in diameter.
- Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Fry the balls in batches for 4–5 minutes until golden brown on all sides.
- Drain on paper towels before serving.
