  • 1/2 lb wide dried rice noodles
  • 1/2 lb steak, thinly sliced
  • 810 shrimp, deveined
  • 1.5 cups assorted vegetables
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 5 tablespoons soy sauce (total)
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Shaoxing wine

Instructions

  1. Marinate the steak with Shaoxing wine, cornstarch, and soy sauce for at least 20 minutes.
  2. Prepare the sauce by whisking together chicken broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, oyster sauce, ground ginger, and cornstarch until smooth.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet or wok; sear the marinated steak for about 1 minute per side. Remove from pan.
  4. Sauté chopped vegetables until tender (4–5 minutes), then add shrimp and cook until pink (2–3 minutes).
  5. Combine cooked steak with noodles and sauce in the skillet; toss until heated through.
  6. Finish with green onions before serving.
