  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 12 oz penne or rotini pasta
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Chopped parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Form into small meatballs.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat; brown the meatballs until fully cooked. Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, mix BBQ sauce, honey, ketchup, and chicken broth; simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  4. Stir uncooked pasta into the sauce; cover and simmer for 10–12 minutes until al dente.
  5. Return meatballs to the skillet; stir in cheddar cheese until melted.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
