  • 1 cup red wine
  • 1 cup crushed tomatoes or tomato purée

  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • Fresh tagliatelle pasta

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat until melted.

  4. Pour in red wine; simmer for about 5 minutes to reduce slightly.

  6. Incorporate whole milk into the sauce; continue cooking for another 30 minutes.
  7. Cook tagliatelle in salted boiling water until al dente as per package instructions.
