  • ½ tsp vanilla bean paste
  • 200 g butter (for frosting, cool room temperature)
  • 330 g powdered sugar (sifted)
  • 1 tsp vanilla paste
  • 1 tbsp whole milk (room temperature)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 160°C (320°F) and line a cupcake pan with liners.
  2. Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl; set aside.
  3. In a stand mixer, beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time while mixing.
  4. Mix in half the dry ingredients, followed by sour cream, oil, and vanilla. Finish with remaining dry ingredients using a rubber spatula to fold gently.
