Ingredients
- 12 jumbo pasta shells
- 1½ cups ricotta cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- ½ cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- Olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the pasta shells in salted boiling water until al dente; drain and let cool.
- In a skillet, sauté minced garlic in olive oil; add spinach until wilted.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta, mozzarella, parmesan, egg, sautéed spinach, salt, and pepper.
- Spread marinara sauce in a baking dish; stuff each shell with the filling and arrange in the dish.
- Top with remaining marinara sauce and extra mozzarella cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes; remove foil and bake an additional 10 minutes until bubbly.
